Job summary

Bally's in Biloxi is seeking a diligent housekeeping associate to maintain clean public areas and BOH spaces, assist with storm prep, and support guest services. You will clean floors, restrooms, and slot areas, monitor trash removal, and participate in safety procedures.

This role requires energy, good judgment, tact with guests, and a flexible schedule to accommodate peak times and weather conditions. Training and teamwork are emphasized to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest

Responsibilities

• Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
• Cleans floors (vacuum, mop, shampoo) and performs spot cleaning as needed.
• Monitors and empties ash/trash containers; removes trash from pool deck, parking, and BOH areas.
• Cleans and details restrooms; cleans BOH hall areas.
• Performs biohazard cleanup in assigned areas as required.
• Assists with BOH office areas and slot bases/machines; positions slot chairs.
• Greets guests and interacts with them professionally.
• Uses cleaning chemicals and safety equipment as instructed.
• Communicates maintenance issues to supervisor; executes daily cleaning projects.
• Collects and secures lost-and-found items; unloads incoming shipments.
• Assists with hurricane/storm preparation; moves pallets, boxes, and equipment to safe areas.
• Trains new employees as needed; maintains relationships with staff.
• Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.

Job description

• Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
• Cleans floors (vacuum, mop, shampoo); spot cleaning as necessary. (Cleaning all front of house public areas inside the building not leased to partners)
• Monitors ash/trash containers, cleaning and removing trash as necessary. (trash removal including pool deck, parking garage landings, and BOH offices, etc.)
• Cleans and Details restrooms.
• Cleans all BOH hall areas
• Responsible for Biohazard cleanup in assigned areas.
• Assist with BOH office areas
• Cleans slot bases/machines; pushes in slot chairs.
• Greets & interacts with guests when appropriate.
• Uses cleaning chemicals as instructed.
• Uses safety equipment as required.
• Communicates all maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Executes Daily Cleaning Projects.
• Collects/secures lost-and-found articles.
• Unloads shipping and receiving items into designated storage areas
• Assists with hurricane/storm preparation: moving pallets, boxes, equipment etc. into designated safe areas
• Trains new employees as needed.
• Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all Hard Rockers to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
• Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
