Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain sanitation and infection control standards across hospital spaces and adjacent buildings. You may travel between facilities as needed to keep areas clean, safe, and presentable during night shifts.

The role requires the ability to work independently, stand and walk for long periods, and follow safety protocols. Preferred: high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years in hospitality, healthcare, or cleaning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years hospitality, healthcare, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to stand and walk continually and stay active during shifts.
• Willingness to work nights and after-hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains environmental and infection control standards per policy.
• Cleans and maintains areas in sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
• Responds to and initiates communication via phone, radios, or pagers.
