Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and maintain patient rooms, common areas, and equipment per standards.
• Perform occupied, discharge, and transfer room cleaning to support safety and turnover.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE protocols handling waste and hazardous materials.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, carts, and supplies per department standards.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with training and mentoring new EVS team members as assigned.
• Complete required documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
• Attend department meetings and team activities to support patient experience.
• Perform specialty cleaning and other Environmental Services duties as assigned.
