Job Summary

This position provides specialized cleaning of hospital areas assigned on a daily basis. The cleaning includes dusting, mopping, linen collection, waste removal and disposal, bathroom cleaning, and cleaning of common areas, offices, patient rooms, and specialized areas as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Industrial or Healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills: Ability to learn all phases of housekeeping duties and maintain a favorable productivity level after the training period. Ability to understand importance of EVS role in preventing infections and hospital‑acquired illnesses. Ability to speak, understand, and read sufficient English to perform the position. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Equipment: Ability to use basic cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and other cleaning supplies.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential physical requirements as noted.
• Pay Range: $21.00 - $29.12. The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
