Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of acute care hospital environmental service techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent infections.
• Dispose of medical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.
• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials.
• Clean and maintain floors, restrooms, and surfaces with specialized equipment.
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs and communicate using available devices.
• Travel between facilities to maintain cleanliness across the hospital campus.
