Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will perform duties with minimal supervision, ensuring a clean, safe environment for Veterans and staff.

Qualifications

• Continuous walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling and pushing.
• Dexterity with hands, feet, and coordinated movements is required.
• Visual acuity to detect dirt, debris, and spills and safe handling of cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform light and heavy cleaning duties and routine housekeeping tasks.
• Clean wards, patient rooms, storerooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and related areas.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, wipe surfaces, and maintain clean, safe patient environments.
