Job summary

Harris Health in Houston seeks an Environmental Services assistant to support cleaning and upkeep across hospital facilities in a team-focused setting.

You will assist in daily housekeeping tasks, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure cleanliness standards are met. A high school diploma or GED is required, with bonus for prior healthcare housekeeping experience and familiarity with PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; (OR) six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma/GED
• Six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred
• Personal Computer
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Other; PeopleSoft

Responsibilities

• Assists in all activities of the Environmental Services department.
• Will work with management and co-workers by engaging in cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of Harris Health facilities.
• Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
• Will oversee and take responsibility for assigned area(s).
• Direct report to Supervisor.
