Job summary

Lincoln Hospital within MaineHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to join the Environmental Services Team. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other areas to maintain cleanliness and safety, with evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM and a 40-hour workweek.

The position offers a $18.00–$20.70 per hour pay range, eligible for comprehensive benefits and a sign-on incentive for full-time hires; part-time staff are prorated.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Environmental Services Team Member role performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
• EVS Team Members are responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of occupied and discharged patient rooms, the Emergency Department, ORs, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
