Job summary

Saint Anthony Hospital is seeking an EVS – Environmental Services professional for a full-time evening shift (2:30p-11pm, rotating weekends). Starting compensation is $17.05/hr, with the budgeted range guiding final offers based on skills and experience.

The role covers cleaning of patient and non-patient areas, floor care, waste handling, and related duties, contributing to a safe and sanitary hospital environment.

Qualifications

• One to three years of housekeeping experience in a hospital is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to work with chemicals.
• Experience operating an auto scrubber, a vacuum and wet/dry vacuum.
• Experience operating high and slow speed buffing machines.
• Experience operating spin bonnets and extracting carpets.
• Knowledge of floor care maintenance and handling of regulated/non-regulated waste.
• Work with others collaboratively, cooperatively and in the spirit of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance for hard floors and carpeted areas.
• Set-up and break down areas for catering functions.
• Removal and replacement of cubicle curtains and window drapes.
• Perform removal of waste and bio-hazardous waste from point of origin to proper disposal site.
• Performs cleaning duties in patient and nonpatient areas including but not limited to restrooms, wall washing, window blinds, bed making, and other related duties as assigned or requested.
