Qualifications

• Thorough cleaning of assigned areas including furniture, tile, fixtures, windows, sinks, toilets, mirrors, showers.
• Observes isolation procedures and Infection Prevention Standards.
• Maintains EVS closet, cart, and equipment; reports safety hazards or repair needs.
• Replenishes paper, soap supplies, hand sanitizer.
• Follows department policies for moving furniture and project coordination.
• Handles chemicals with proper dilution and uses PPE when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas and equipment.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain and organize EVS supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate special projects and communicate upcoming work to affected departments.
• Move furniture and supplies following safety procedures.
• Properly mix and store chemicals and use protective equipment.
• Assist with patient room readiness and use Xenex UV Light in designated rooms.
