Job summary

Harris Health is seeking an Environmental Services staff member to assist in cleaning and maintaining all Harris Health facilities in the Houston area. The role requires flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work with a team and supervisors.

The position reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor and emphasizes quality, safety, and patient-focused cleanliness across hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: PeopleSoft and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all Environmental Services duties across Harris Health facilities.
• Willing to work with management and coworkers to clean and maintain areas.
• Be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
• Oversee and take responsibility for assigned areas; report to Supervisor.

Job Summary

Assists in all activities of the Environmental Services department. Willing to work with management and co-workers by engaging in cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of Harris Health facilities. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments. Will oversee and take responsibility for assigned area (s). Direct report to Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

School Education

High School diploma or GED; (OR) six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma/GED

Work Experience

Six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred
