Job summary

Anderson Hospital in Staunton, IL is seeking a Full Time Facilities Associate to perform patient room cleaning using a seven-step process and isolation areas per protocols. • Vacuum rugs daily.
• Performs snow removal from sidewalks and entry doors.
• Performs general cleaning of Physical Therapy department, per the cleaning schedule.
• Clean patient rooms using the seven-step cleaning process and isolation areas.
• Clean bathrooms and all other areas of the hospital/clinics according to cleaning schedules.
• Have the knowledge and ability to work any schedule in the Housekeeping Department.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety procedures for housekeeping.
• Uses standard precautions appropriately.
• Safely operates equipment, appropriately uses and stores chemicals.
• Adheres to Confidentiality/Release of Information guidelines for adults and minors.
• Maintains an acceptable level of competency as measured by quality assurance inspections.

Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning patient rooms utilizing the seven-step method of cleaning, isolation areas in accordance with protocols, bathrooms and all other areas of the hospital/clinic/physical therapy department according to cleaning schedules.
