Job summary

EVS Tech is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean and sanitary hospital environment. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, common areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with floor care. Training and orientation to the Dietary Department will be provided to selected applicants.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18+, and pass a background check and drug screen. Benefits are included with this position.

Part-time, benefitted position that is 20 hours per week.

Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff throughout the facility. This position performs routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, common areas, and equipment, restocks supplies, assists with floor care, and follows all infection prevention, chemical safety, and regulatory standards. The Environmental Services Technician responds to requests in a timely and professional manner, maintains confidentiality, supports quality improvement initiatives, and works collaboratively with team members to ensure a safe, welcoming healthcare environment. The ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing needs, and perform other assigned duties is essential.
