Job summary

UF Health Environmental Services Supervisor oversees EVS staff in clinical and non-clinical spaces, managing day-to-day operations, communication, staff coordination, and coaching to promote service excellence.

Minimum quals include an associate degree or 1–3 years of combined education/experience; supervisory hospital housekeeping experience is preferred. Strong verbal/written communication and regulatory knowledge are desired; basic Word/Outlook skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent 1-3 years combined education and experience.
• Supervisory experience in hospital housekeeping preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements preferred.
• General computer knowledge; Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee task assignments and completions by EVS staff in clinical and non-clinical spaces.
• Manage day-to-day operations, administrative communication, staff coordination, and coaching.
• Conduct assignment inspections and promote service excellence.
