Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor for the 2nd shift with oversight over the 3rd shift as needed. The role requires supervision of housekeeping activities and ensuring a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of supervisory experience, familiarity with housekeeping/ESD, and a High School diploma. Evening hours are Monday–Friday 3pm–11:30pm with rotating weekends, onsite at Sentara CarePlex Hospital.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisory experience (Required)
• Previous housekeeping/ESD experience (Strongly Preferred)
• High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
• Some College (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling department activities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide assistance and act as a technical resource within the team.
• Contribute to goal accomplishment and resource management; communicate Sentara mission and directions to team.
