Job summary

North Adams Regional Hospital is seeking Environmental Services staff to perform routine cleaning in various hospital areas and assist with minor repairs and equipment transport. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and the hospital's Service Standards.

Experience in healthcare cleaning and CPI training for behavioral health or emergency departments is preferred. Strong communication and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION

Perform specified routine and on demand cleaning in and around hospital departments, patient care units and ancillary areas. Perform minor repairs, moves, transport of soiled equipment and work in compliance with all safety and other regulations while delivering excellent services to assigned units. All Environmental Services Staff and Leadership are expected and required to adhere to all aspects of the organizations values and Service Standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:

Proven ability to perform duties and tasks in accordance with established standards.

Education and Training:

The ability to read and write English, and to communicate effectively.

The ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc.

License, Certification & Registration:

CPI training is required for staff assigned to behavioral health units and the emergency department.

Other Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions, Ability to perform repetitive duties. Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff and visitors. Ability to received criticism professionally.

The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
