Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift EVS Assistant Director in Lansing, MI to oversee the EVS department, schedule staff, and ensure compliance with The Joint Commission guidelines. The role requires strong leadership, union experience, and capability to manage within budgetary constraints.

You will lead supervisory staff, coordinate with other departments, and maintain sanitation standards to support hospital facilities. Prior EVS leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing a team in EVS or healthcare settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the EVS department and supervise supervisory staff.
• Schedule staff to meet facility needs within budget.
• Maintain sanitation standards and coordinate with other departments.
• Report progress and staff training needs to the Department Director.
• Coordinate outside services and manage inventory for EVS supplies.
