Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. This 12-week program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you to manage environmental services.

You will learn to supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain records while developing scheduling and liaison skills with administrators and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
