Baystate Health is seeking an EVS/Linen Supervisor for the Environmental Services department at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA. The role involves supervising EVS staff, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and infection control standards.

You will collaborate with Human Resources and department leadership, participate in staff evaluations, and assist with staffing across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of custodial/housekeeping supervising experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervise EVS staff; assure efficient and effective workflows, scheduling, Kronos, orientation and staff development, disciplinary action, hiring and termination.
• Resolve grievances and personnel issues in collaboration with HR, Department Director, and Departmental Management.
• Ensure staff compliance with BH policies and EVS procedures and infection control.
• Supervise shift employees and complete shift activity reports for the Manager.
• Train new employees and assist with scheduling and staffing of other shifts as required.
• Maintain departmental policies, safety, environmental procedures, and infection control.
