Compass Group USA's TouchPoint, Support Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Environmental Services to lead the EVS/Housekeeping operations at a 400-bed facility. You will partner with the Director to ensure regulatory compliance, budget adherence, and seamless integration of EVS into facility operations.

The role directs a team of about 100 associates, overseeing staffing, training, quality, and safety to deliver excellent patient services and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three to five years EVS/Housekeeping experience in a hospital setting (depending on degree)
• CHESP certification highly desirable
• Excellent patient services, guest relations, or customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient patient coverage by monitoring daily assignments, adjusting staffing as needed, and supporting consistent adherence to established procedures
• Leads, orients, trains, and develops associates to ensure competency, continuous growth, and consistent delivery of high‑quality care and safety practices
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions of the department
• Conducts regular management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments
• Maintains department in a ready state, compliant with regulations
• Maintains relations with Client departments
• Serves on community committees and professional organizations
• Encourages and nurtures associate creativity with the Community Works program
• Maintains security for Client-owned property and funds
