Churchill Downs Inc. is seeking an EVS Lead for the Oak Grove property in Kentucky.

The role supervises the EVS team, ensuring the cleanliness of guest areas and public spaces on the 1st floor lobby, gaming floor, lounges, restrooms, and related areas to meet health and cleanliness standards. You will oversee training, scheduling, supply ordering, and daily operations, including safety, spills, biohazard cleanup, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise EVS team members.
• Ensure EVS attendants perform duties as instructed.
• Maintain safety and accident prevention.
• Develop and implement training for EVS employees.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations.
• Prepare ordering requisitions for EVS.
• Clean spills and remove biohazardous materials.
• Keep storage areas and carts stocked and tidy.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed.
• Promote department and company services to staff and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
