Job summary

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel is seeking an EVS Lead for the 2nd shift to supervise the environmental services team and ensure cleanliness across the lobby, gaming floor, lounges, restrooms, and related areas. The position requires 21 years of age, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and ability to obtain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Qualifications

Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise EVS team members.
Ensure EVS Attendants perform duties as instructed.
Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
Lead training program development for all EVS employees.
Ensure the department’s day-to-day activities are running smoothly and according to standards.
Prepare ordering requisitions for EVS supplies.
Vacuuming/cleaning carpet and related cleaning duties.
Cleaning spills and removing biohazardous materials.
Keep storage areas clean and carts well-stocked and tidy.
Keep utility carts stocked with cleaning supplies.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using appropriate equipment.
Act as a department champion promoting services to staff and visitors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
