Community Hospital is seeking a Supervisor for the Environmental Services Team to oversee housekeeping and linen functions. The role includes supervision, staff training, scheduling, and ensuring clean, safe areas across the hospital, with emphasis on quality and infection control.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (college degree preferred) and 1–2 years of supervisor experience in service industries, with strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma required. College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–2 years as supervisor in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer contact.
• Strong work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Listening and empathy skills; problem-solving in group settings.
• Participate in managing staff; handle stress and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with budgeting concepts and infection control practices.

Responsabilités

• Assumes day-to-day supervision of Environmental Services linen distribution and shift staff.
• Interviews and recommends selection of Environmental Services employees.
• Provides orientation and ongoing training; evaluates performance.
• Assigns duties and supervises housekeeping and linen staff.
• Prepares schedules and communicates shift activities to leadership.
• Contributes to department policies and infection control practices.
