Job summary

Veterans Health Administration (VA) seeks a Housekeeping Aid - Environmental Services Technician to perform a full range of cleaning duties at VA Medical Centers in Denver and Pueblo, Colorado. The role supports patient care by maintaining clean and safe environments, including wards, patient rooms, restrooms, and other areas, with supervision by a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Schedule may be full-time or part-time, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of light and heavy cleaning duties and routine housekeeping duties.
• Duties include cleaning wards, patient rooms, storerooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, shower rooms and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub floors, vacuum carpets and upholstery, empty waste baskets, clean light globes and Venetian blinds, wash walls/windows/ceilings.
• Carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
