Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO is seeking an Environmental Services Technician/Housekeeping for a part-time schedule (Fridays, rotating weekends, and two additional weekdays).

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment in patient rooms, offices, nurse stations, lounges, hallways, and public areas, and reporting unsafe conditions. Previous housekeeping experience is required; a high school diploma is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

• Minimum Qualifications: Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent preferred; Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas (patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators, lobby).
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenish supplies including soap, towels, and toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
