The role requires customer service, good attendance, and a valid driver's license. SHIFTS include 7:00AM-3:30PM and 3:30PM-12:00AM, with pay rate $15.81-$21.34 plus a $2.00

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Regular attendance required.
• Two years floor stripping and refinishing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialized cleaning including floor maintenance, refinishing and carpet shampooing.
• Assist with setting up rooms for meetings and other housekeeping tasks.
• Handle trash, biohazard waste and related duties; stand for long periods, bend and twist as needed.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing a variety of general and specialized cleaning including floor maintenance, refinishing, and carpet shampooing in assigned areas of the hospital. Assist with setting up rooms with various meetings. Other duties include assisting with other housekeeping related tasks including but not limited to trash pick-up, biohazard waste, etc. A job as an EVS Tech is physically demanding, requiring workers to remain standing for several hours straight, twisting, squatting, and bending.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

Education/Training/Experience

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Customer Service experience
• Regular/consistent attendance

Preferred

• Two (2) years floor stripping and refinishing experience

License/Certifications/Special Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
