Job summary

Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is seeking a Public Space Attendant to maintain clean and attractive public areas throughout the facility. Under the direction of the manager, you will perform basic cleaning tasks and ensure guest areas meet safety and appearance standards.

This role requires standing and walking most of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and providing courteous, proactive service to guests and colleagues in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums; polishes walls, floors and fixtures within facility.
• Sets up, moves and/or installs furniture and pipe-n-drapes.
• Provides quality customer service to patrons/guests and occasionally performs work with minimal supervision.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Position requires standing and walking 100% of the time; lifts up to 50 pounds.

Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is our new resort that includes a casino with a total of nearly 38,000 square feet, including space for 640 slot machines and 18 tables for blackjack, craps, roulette, and other house-banked card games, along with high-stakes bingo action. JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Manager of Public Space, the incumbent maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe’s Policies and Procedures.
• Cleans, sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums; polishes walls, floors and fixtures within facility.
• Picks up and disposes of trash.
• Sets up, moves and/or installs furniture and pipe-n-drapes.
• Provides quality customer service to patrons/guests and occasionally performs work with minimal supervision.
• Assists other departmental personnel and performs special projects as assigned.
• Knowledge of Seminole policies, procedures and operations.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
