Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly department environment.
• Forecasts and plans purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Plans staff schedules to ensure adequate services and maintains staffing levels.
