Job summary

Presque Isle Downs, Inc. is seeking a Janitorial/Cleaning Attendant to maintain cleanliness of gaming areas, machines, restrooms, offices, and public spaces within the facility.

You will remove spills, stock supplies, sweep and wax floors, and perform other duties as assigned while ensuring compliance with licensing requirements. Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays, with emphasis on attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Clean gaming machines, bases, ashtrays, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, counters, furniture, and decorative objects in the Facility or common areas.
• Remove spills and bio-hazardous materials and keep storage areas clean and stocked.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Janitorial/Cleaning Attendant will be responsible for cleaning gaming machines, including in between machines and bases, ashtrays, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the Facility or common areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning spills and removing any bio-hazardous materials
• Keep storage areas clean and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
• Keep utility carts stocked with cleaning supplies
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
