Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated in Oak Grove, KY is hiring a Janitorial/Cleaning Attendant to maintain cleanliness of gaming machines, restrooms, offices and common areas within the Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning spills, restocking supplies, floor care, and ensuring a tidy environment across all gaming areas. Candidates must be available to work weekends, holidays and nights and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Clean gaming machines, ashtrays, trash cans, restrooms, offices and public areas in the facility.
• Sweep, scrub, wax floors and keep areas tidy; restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

JOB SUMMARY

The Janitorial/Cleaning Attendant will be responsible for cleaning gaming machines, including in between machines and bases, ashtrays, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the Facility or common areas. #OakGrove

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning spills and removing any bio-hazardous materials
• Keep storage areas clean and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
• Keep utility carts stocked with cleaning supplies
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
