Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a diligent Environmental Services teammate to maintain high cleanliness standards across our properties in Cincinnati. You will operate cleaning equipment, sanitize guest and team member areas, and support guest satisfaction through responsive service.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and some cleaning experience, with the ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to guest service requirements and property policies.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and lifts.
  • Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, and fixtures; replace tissue and towels.
  • Empty trash, sweep and mop floors, and maintain cleanliness of common areas.
  • Respond to guest requests or direct to the appropriate contact.
  • Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform standards.

Job Description
  • Adhere to guest service requirement listed above
  • Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
  • Able to operate small cleaning equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
  • Clean restrooms. mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets
  • Empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks and counter tops as well as sweep and mop floors.
  • Remove all trash to exterior trash points
  • Remove snow for trash run
  • Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
  • Clean and polish all furniture, marble, brass, brass floor plates, and entrance door brass and kick door brass plates
  • Clean brass, lighting, walls and carpeting
  • Clean and dust all lighting and lampshades
  • Vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges and clean team member restaurant floors, and sanitizes all guest and team member areas
  • Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance
  • Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual.
  • This is a uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty
  • Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
  • Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and propriatary information disclosed by a Belterra Park entity or by a guest of Belterra Park
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the department Manager, and Shift Supervisor on duty

  • Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments

Required Education and Work Experience
  • High school diploma or certificate from Educational Institute
  • Must have (6) months years experience in the cleaning field
