Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Janitorial/Cleaning Attendant at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel in Oak Grove, Kentucky. You will be responsible for cleaning gaming machines, restrooms, offices, and public areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.

The role requires availability for weekends, holidays, and night shifts. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the ability to obtain a Kentucky gaming/racing license is required or pursued, with

Responsibilities

• Clean gaming machines and surrounding areas, bases, and ashtrays.
• Empty trash, clean restrooms, offices, and public spaces.
• Clean windows, countertops, furniture, and other surfaces as required.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; use cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

JOB SUMMARY

The Janitorial/Cleaning Attendant will be responsible for cleaning gaming machines, including between machines and bases, ashtrays, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, countertops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the Facility or common areas. #OakGrove

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning spills and removing any biohazardous materials
• Keep storage areas clean and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Keep utility carts stocked with cleaning supplies
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
