Job summary

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center seeks a Housekeeping/EVS Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing hospital environment. The role involves substantial walking, pushing a cleaning cart, and handling cleaning chemicals in a fast-paced setting.

This is a full-time day-shift position (6am-2:30pm) with weekend and holiday rotations every other week and a $1/hour weekend differential when applicable. Join a large health system committed to patient care.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Effective communication by phone and verbally with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and chemical handling instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in patient rooms and assigned areas according to policy.
• Empties hampers, transports soiled linen, and handles trash and medical waste.
• Restocks supplies like toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and logs usage; notifies repairs as needed.
• May perform special projects such as window or wall washing.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors and aims for service excellence.
• Works under regular supervision within an assigned facility/area.
