Job summary

Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is seeking an EVS Assistant Manager to lead daily operations of Environmental Services, Linen, and Projects across the hospital and affiliated buildings.

You will supervise staff, implement cleaning methods, manage training programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a preferred college degree, and at least 2 years of managerial experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years managerial experience.
• CHEST or CSCT certifications preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• DOT certificate required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the environmental services department.
• Supervise EVS staff and grounds keeping to ensure standards and procedures.
• Monitor programs to keep buildings safe, clean and operational.
• Recruit, interview and select EVS personnel; oversee training.
• Develop and maintain EVS policies and OSHA/Joint Commission standards.
• Maintain department budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
