Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Environmental Services Senior Coordinator to support the EVS supervisor with scheduling, training, quality monitoring, and equipment operation. This role requires a flexible schedule and occasional travel to the Eustis hospital, serving as a working lead in the absence of supervision.

You will supervise shifts, conduct 60-day evaluations, assist with competency assessments, and coordinate with leaders to drive performance improvements while maintaining policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CSCT and CHEST certifications required within one year of hire.
• Minimum five years in healthcare support services or two years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one training for new hires and staff using approved materials.
• Demonstrate and model cleaning skills for all patient and non-patient areas.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints from patients, visitors, staff, and customers.
• Maintain floor-care logs, checklists, and chemical mixing records.
• Supervise shifts, perform 60-day evaluations, and support competency assessments.
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers to address improvement opportunities.
