HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking an EVS Lead to provide essential patient care support and department operations. The role includes patient transport, handling of sterile supplies, and coordinating bed and stretcher movements within the OR support framework.

The EVS Lead will ensure safe environmental services, oversee routine tasks, and collaborate with nursing and hospital staff to maintain high standards of care and cleanliness. Experience in healthcare settings is preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Position Summary:

The EVS Lead provides assistance in patient care and department support. Activities are performed in accordance with patient care and department standards - duties include patient transport, blood and blood product transport, OR room turnover, handling of sterile supplies, specimen handling, bed / stretcher coordination and other duties as appropriately assigned. The EVS Lead performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

The EVS Lead cares for adult, geriatric, adolescent and pediatric patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. The EVS Lead may come in contact with medications and therefore must demonstrate understanding of proper medication management and storage as well as maintaining a secure medication environment. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Performs delegated functions safely and accurately. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
