Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an EVS Aide to join our team!

The Environmental Services (EVS) Aide provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. In this role you will receive cleaning assignments, clean and sanitize assigned areas through performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, preparing beds, cleaning bathrooms, and collecting recycling and garbage using approved methods, chemicals and equipment.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Days and every 3rd weekend.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
• Prefer but not required, high school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum and frequently walk, stand, push/pull, reach and twist/turn.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping department is beneficial but not required.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
