Job summary

LifeCare Medical Transports seeks drivers to transport patients to medical appointments and healthcare facilities. You will assist EMTs with moving patients in both emergency and non-emergency settings. EVOC certification is required, with courses provided by LifeCare for full-time employees.

Applicants must be at least 21, hold a Virginia Driver’s License with a clean record, and complete necessary FEMA ICS and HAZMAT training. Part-time positions are also available.

Qualifications

• EVOC certification can be obtained through LifeCare EVOC program.
• CPR for HealthCare Provider required.
• Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record.
• Background check required for employment.
• FEMA ICS 100/200/700/800c courses provided/free.
• HAZMAT training available via FEMA.
• PASS certification may be provided by LifeCare.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to/from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
• Assist EMTs with moving and transporting patients in emergent and non-emergent settings.
• Follow EVOC safety protocols and participate in required certifications.
