Job summary

Hospital to Home LLC is seeking a safety-conscious Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) to join our Mobile Healthcare team in Virginia Beach. The EVO will safely operate ambulances and support EMS crews during emergency responses and transfers, ensuring patient safety and timely service delivery.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with 3+ years of driving, EVOC certification, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, EMS personnel and facilities.
• Strong knowledge of local roadways and safe driving techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Must be able to lift and assist patients/equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate emergency vehicles during emergency responses, transfers, and non-emergency transports.
• Drive following all traffic laws and best practices for emergency vehicle operation.
• Assist with loading/unloading of patients, stretchers, and equipment.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are stocked and functional.
• Complete documentation and maintenance reports accurately and promptly.
