• Train staff on evidence handling and department protocols; manage destruction events.
• Occasional after-hours on-call and travel 5–30%.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills, ensures compliance with chain-of-custody requirements, and maintains a clean, secure, and efficient work environment. This position requires a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.Location: Kennesaw, GAResponsibilities:Oversee the maintenance and handling of evidence, including receipt, barcoding, storage, return, destruction, and inventory in accordance with policies and procedures.Ensure proper chain-of-custody documentation for all evidence and property transactions.Photograph evidence during intake and maintain accurate visual documentation.Prepare and coordinate the transportation of evidence to and from testing laboratories.Maintain clean, organized, and operational evidence processing equipment and vehicles.Provide departmental support during inspections, audits, and investigations.Train and update staff on evidence handling best practices and department protocols.Coordinate and organize evidence destruction events and maintain associated records.Conduct monthly vehicle maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.Serve in an on-call capacity for after-hours response as needed.Proven ability to handle sensitive and protected information responsibly and in compliance with laws and policies.Establish and maintain effective systems for tracking evidence management activities and invoice approvals.Demonstrated commitment to working safely and following best practices and regulations.Other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, property, or inventory management.Equivalent combinations of experience and training may be considered.Knowledge of equipment, procedures, and documentation standards related to warehouse management.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and able to learn new software systems quickly.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 pounds as needed.Occasional travel (5%–30%) required.Licensing & CertificationsMust obtain within 6 months of hire and maintain CMV Certification (U.S. DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration).Must obtain within 6 months of hire and maintain Forklift Operator Certification.Valid Georgia Driver’s License required.A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus, but not required.EOE/AA/M/F/Vet/DisabilityApplied Technical Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
