Job summary

Centerstone’s Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic in Fayetteville seeks a licensed Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy to veterans, active-duty service members, and families.

The role emphasizes short-term treatment (8-12 sessions) with a focus on CBT, CPT, and Prolonged Exposure, under a GS12-equivalent framework in this region. Join a mission-driven team with strong clinical supervision, structured caseloads, and supportive administration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work is required and licensure to practice
• Ability to obtain/maintain LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or Psychologist license in the applicable state
• Three years of clinical behavioral health experience required; veterans-focused experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services including therapy for Veterans and families
• Conduct screenings, psychosocial assessments, and progress/referral documentation
• Perform clinical intake assessments for veterans and family members as needed
• Provide individual, couple, and family psychotherapy with evidence-based treatments
• Coordinate with caregivers, physicians, clinic director, case management and others to ensure high-quality care
• Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings
