Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a licensed mental health professional to direct client care within Harbor Light programs, providing individual and group therapy, education, and quality improvement activities using evidence-based strategies.

Responsibilities include intake, screening, assessment, referrals, documentation, crisis intervention, and collaboration with referral sources and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Licensure in one of the listed areas and working within licensure-specified scope of practice.
• Certification in Michigan MCABAP or IC&RC credentials (CADC/CAADC/CCJP-R/CCDP/CCDP-D).
• Alternative certifications: UMICAD for counselors; NCC with MAC for Licensed Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, referral and follow up services for Harbor Light program admissions.
• Complete intake process for clients within program timeframes and document critical information.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain case records per Harbor Light standards and complete discharge documentation.
