Job summary

David Weekley Homes is seeking an Experienced Events Specialist to join the Marketing Team in the Greater Houston area. This on-site role focuses on planning and executing community and realtor events, managing budgets, vendors, and timelines to drive traffic and sales.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of event planning experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute community grand openings, realtor events, model home events, homeowner appreciation events and other marketing initiatives.
• Manage event logistics including timelines, vendor coordination, budgets, permits, signage, rentals, catering, entertainment and on-site execution.
• Coordinate setup, maintenance and presentation of events to reflect brand standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Design Center, Construction, Land, Purchasing and vendors to support launches and campaigns.
• Assist with opening new communities by coordinating marketing readiness, events and promotional activities.
• Track event budgets, invoices and vendor payments and maintain records.
• Evaluate event performance through attendance tracking, lead generation and post-event analysis.
• Maintain schedules and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Build relationships with internal teams, vendors, and community partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
