Job summary

MinIO is seeking an entries-level Events Specialist to join our US events team. You will support logistics for marquee, trade shows, regional and community events, working directly with the Director of Field Marketing & Events.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn by doing. You will coordinate booth setup, staffing, lead capture, post-event follow-ups, and reporting, while assisting with regional events, executive dinners, and local

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years of professional experience; internship or coursework in events, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and vendors at once.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel (approximately 25%, depending on event calendar).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and vendors for US trade shows and marquee events, including booth build, shipping, and on-site setup/teardown.
• Build and manage on-site staffing schedules and shift coverage for US event presence.
• Run lead and badge-scan operations at events.
• Set up and manage post-event follow-up flows (email sequences, SFDC lead routing).
• Draft first-pass post-event reports against the standardized reporting format.
• Support logistics for US regional events, including executive dinners, happy hours, and local activations (venue sourcing, catering, invite/RSVP management).
• Support Community/Developer event logistics in the US (meetups, local developer events).
• Track event budgets against actuals and flag discrepancies.
• Provide general administrative support to the Director of Field Marketing & Events, including scheduling, vendor invoicing, and calendar maintenance.
