Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to serve and prepare alcohol.
• At least 1 year of server experience in the restaurant or food service industry.
• Observes extensive grooming, customer service, and uniform/ dress standards.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and take orders.
• Present menu, answer questions, and suggest items.
• Enter orders into POS Micros accurately.
• Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and bars.
• Prepare drink orders including wine and beer.
• Observe diners and respond to requests; determine when meal is complete.
• Serve food items to assigned tables as ordered.
• Totals bills and handle payments or refer to cashier.
• Clear and reset guest areas after each course.
• Ensure food stations are stocked per checklists.
• This position occasionally works Part-Time or On-Call.
• Break down service stations and clean equipment.
• This position is not responsible for supervising staff.
• Other duties as assigned to support department success.
