Job summary

Safehouse Security Solutions & Transport in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Events Security Supervisor to lead our event teams. You will supervise security agents, manage posts, and serve as the main point of contact for clients and venue staff.

Qualifications include a valid California Guard Card, First Aid/CPR/AED, and 3+ years in event security with leadership experience. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. A background check and drug test will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, brief, and deploy security agents at events.
• Assign posts and manage staffing, breaks, and rotations.
• Serve as main client contact (event staff and venue management).
• Conduct pre-event walkthroughs to identify risks and exits.
• Oversee entry/exit points, perimeter security, and access control.
• Direct crowd management and crowd flow strategies.
• Lead conflict resolution and escalation handling.
• Coordinate responses to medical or critical incidents.
• Maintain clear radio communication across team.
• Collaborate with event personnel and law enforcement.
• Review incident reports and complete post-event summaries.
• Coach agents to follow Safehouse standards.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Events Security Supervisor to help run our event teams in Los Angeles. If you've supervised security at concerts, corporate events, festivals, private ot celebrity functions. Who also enjoy leading a team and all the optics that go into it, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Supervise, brief, and deploy security agents before and during events.
• Assign posts and manage staffing, breaks, and rotations throughout the shift.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, event staff, and venue management.
• Run pre-event walkthroughs to find risks, vulnerabilities, and emergency exits.
• Oversee entry and exit points, perimeter security, and access control.
• Direct crowd management and crowd flow strategy.
• Lead conflict resolution and de-escalation, and step in on escalated incidents.
• Coordinate response to medical emergencies and critical incidents.
• Keep radio communication clear and constant across the team.
• Work with event personnel and law enforcement to deliver a cohesive security strategy.
• Review and approve incident reports; complete post-event summaries.
• Coach agents on the job and make sure they follow Safehouse standards and procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of event security experience, with at least 1 year as a supervisor or team lead
• Valid California Guard Card
• First Aid / CPR / AED certification
• Valid California driver's license
• Must live in or near the Los Angeles area
• Available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit and able to respond quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a background check and a drug test

Nice to Have

• Firearms permit (Exposed or Concealed, BSIS)
• Experience at large venues or festivals (1,000+ attendees)
• Security, law enforcement, or military training

• Crowd management or incident command (ICS/NIMS) training

Pay

is based on Experience, Tenure and Performance.
