Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seeks enthusiastic Ambassadors to support the Special Events Sales team and coordinate client events in the San Diego area. You will interface with clients and park departments, manage inventories and assist with on-site coordination.

Ideal candidates have strong presentation skills, the ability to multi-task, and proficiency with MS Office. A two-year degree is required, with a Bachelor's preferred and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Must have associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or one year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have two years of related experience/education.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to establish relationships at all levels with clients and prospect organizations.
• High-level presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey ideas to senior leadership and clients.
• Ability to self-start and work independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; capable of creating Excel reports and formulas.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills; ability to read and interpret business documents.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; travel industry experience and bilingual Spanish are plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and act as liaison for park Special Events Sales team for client event planning and development.
• Interface with clients and park departments by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with reporting, presentations, warehouse inventory, and on-site event coordination.
• Represents the organization with a positive attitude and high energy in all tasks.
• Carry out administrative duties to support Special Events Sales team.
• Facilitate client and team requests; support accounts Executives and Leader.
• Organize and manage inventory of off-site Marketing warehouse.
• Coordinate, prepare, and execute sales presentations, trade shows, and trainings.
• Answer phone/email; respond to client questions and event inquiries.
• Prepare written correspondence and mailings; manage event collateral and supplies.
• Manage event ticket processing and mailing; compile sales reports and account tracking reports.
• Coordinate on-site picnics and events; participate in industry events and park familiarization tours.
• Develop park event communications such as prospectuses, checklists, signage, and production elements.
