The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club is seeking an Events & Public Relations Intern for the 2027 season. This role reports to the General Manager and supports game-day operations, promotions, and guest services.

You will assist with theme nights, donor outreach, and the distribution of program materials while maintaining a high-energy, customer-first approach at all times.

The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club is seeking an Events & Public Relations Intern for the 2027 season. This position will work under the direction of the General Manager.

Job Candidate Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation

General Responsibilities

• Attend all regular season home games and home playoff games if necessary
• Help coordinate theme nights – let’s make each night something special
• Call businesses looking for donations and prizes to go with each theme
• Show creativity and outside the box thinking to make each night memorable
• Assist Guest Services throughout each game at our tent
• Answer questions, direct to seats, give exceptional customer service
• Hand out programs, roster sheets, & other promotional items
• Sell raffle tickets and other fundraising items
• Check IDs and issue wristbands to individuals over 21 for alcohol purchases
• Assist with all pre-game set-up and post-game clean up as needed
• Ability to work game nights and weekends in addition to other team functions
• Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner that represents the organization positively
• Exude extreme enthusiasm and positivity with a ‘do whatever it takes’ attitude.
