Responsibilities

  • Serve as a project manager and primary contact for high‑visibility local restaurant openings and community events in U.S. markets.
  • Lead cross‑functional launch alignment across marketing, PR, and agency partners; coordinate operations and field staff.
  • Manage multiple events across planning stages simultaneously.
  • Oversee budgets and billing for events and projects.
  • Supervise on‑site setup, execution, and cleanup of events.
  • Maintain client relationships and integrate client goals into project plans.
  • Delegate tasks and promote inclusive language and behavior.
  • Resolve unique on‑ground issues and prepare and present decks and communications materials.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly relational project manager. The ideal candidate has agency and client team experience, a track record of project management, and expertise in collaborating with team members day‑to‑day on marketing, event and communications projects. The role requires travel in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico).

What You’ll Do
Specifically, this position will be responsible for:
  • Serving as a project manager and primary point of contact for highly‑visible local restaurant opening events and community events in U.S. markets - including planning remotely and traveling to execute events on‑site.
  • Leading cross‑functional launch alignment, including coordinating corporate marketing and PR teams and multiple agency partners, operations teams and field training staff.
  • Managing several events at different stages in the planning process at any given time.
  • Managing budgets and billing for events and projects.
  • Overseeing the set‑up, execution and cleanup of events while on‑site.
  • Fostering and maintaining multiple client relationships, including discussing and understanding their goals to incorporate into project plans.
  • Delegating and using inclusive language and behaviors.
  • Resolving issues for unique on‑ground problems/situations.
  • Preparing and presenting decks and other communications materials.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrate calm under pressure and have at least 3-5+ years of Project Management experience, with event planning experience and 1-2+ years in an agency environment. This role requires regular travel across the United States.

Required experience includes, but is not limited to:
  • Extremely detail‑oriented project management skills with ability to achieve results on deadline and on budget.
  • Experience with Project Management tools/technologies, preferably Asana, and/or Smartsheet experience.
  • High organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Client service and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to foresee issues and anticipate client and attendee needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong proofreading skills and ability to multitask and execute through to completion.
  • A track record of successful event planning and execution.
  • Leadership, team management and delegation skills.
  • Decision‑making skills, including ability to apply critical thinking to a simple or complex situation, analyze situations including short‑and‑long‑term impact, understand the available options, and recommend the best course of action among the options.
  • Communication skills – able to communicate effectively and collaboratively across teams internal and external using multiple communications channels.
  • Strong knowledge of target audiences, such as local community stakeholders, influencers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with marketing concepts and understanding of PR practices to collaborate with counterparts and effectively reach business, consumer and local media audiences.
