Job summary

American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Parties Manager responsible for planning, preparing and executing memorable events from initial meetings to final execution, coordinating with clients and vendors.

You will lead Party Planners, Coordinators and Hosts, manage budgets, scheduling and guest satisfaction, and work with sales to expand programming. 4+ years in party planning and 3+ years of supervision are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in party planning and execution.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent written skills including marketing or PR text.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Effective time management and prioritization of multiple tasks.
• Self-motivation and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute events ensuring safety standards.
• Create client agreements and budgets.
• Communicate budget, space and vendor progress with clients.
• Proactively address problems with clients.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and oversee event needs.
• Oversee scheduling of Party Planners, Coordinators and Hosts.
• Conduct on-site tours for parties with the planner.
• Collaborate with sales to expand programming and handle special requests.
• Be the main contact for guest resolutions and survey analysis.
